Gladstone Hotel is located at the corner of gladstone ave and queen street west, the west end of downtown area. Surrounded by a large amont and high density of residential units and a little far from the downtown center, the hotel doesn’t work effectively in providing accomodation to the main tourism. However, as an art hotel, it performs quite well in design communication, gathering and celebration. With great potential in benefiting the communities, the space does need some improvement.

Utilizing the Canadian local visual language of aurora, the brand new design for the art hotel lobby performs as a brave experiment project for the new generation of multi-dimensional art gallery and museum.
